The Santa Barbara Botanical garden commissioned Pardell Design to create a honorary medallion, a bas relief and a larger than life sized bust of the Honorable John C. Pritzlaff.  This movie illustrates how we use photography as a template for applying “clay” to a digital model.  The scan data collected for the medallion was then used to create the larger bas relief.  A maquette of the bust was sculpted in the traditional fashion, digitally scanned and then enlarged to create the larger bust, which was then molded and cast in bronze
